Job Overview:

ARG PLUMBING is a reputable plumbing services provider based in Calgary, Alberta. As part of our dedication to excellence, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Plumbing Apprentices.

Duties:

• Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to understand plumbing layouts and requirements
• Assist with assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances
• Gain knowledge of different types of piping materials and their applications
• Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete plumbing tasks
• Assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing necessary repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge is preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of carpentry principles is beneficial
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desirable

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
•  Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
